I utilize tools like Power BI and Power Automate to streamline various processes. Additionally, I create dashboards to provide visibility into my team's performance statistics. My role often involves working on projects that assist my team with their daily tasks, whether through developing dashboards or automating reports.

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my program because it exposes me to new skills that I can implement in my daily tasks. Recently, I've been learning how to use Pandas in Python to manipulate and clean data, which I find both interesting and satisfying when everything runs smoothly.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Since joining, I've significantly improved my Power BI proficiency and data handling skills. Managing large datasets is a crucial part of my daily responsibilities. Many of my projects involve stakeholder communication to ensure each project meets their specific requirements. This has greatly enhanced my communication and organizational skills.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The program is generally well-organized and easy to follow, but there are times when navigation can be confusing. The website where all the courses are stored isn't very straightforward and requires extensive navigation to find what you need. Additionally, the clarity on tasks to complete and the ease of contacting my learning coach could be improved, as I often find it difficult to get in touch.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive excellent support from my employer, who often provides relevant information that aids my projects and portfolio. Their advice and guidance frequently align with the goals of my program. Additionally, my employer advocates for continuous learning and skill development, constantly encouraging me to acquire new skills.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provides useful links to aid my coursework, but it can be challenging to get in touch with my learning coach due to their busy schedule. While I receive a fair amount of support, much of my learning is self-driven.

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification has equipped me with new technical skills that I implement in my daily tasks, as well as a better understanding of how to tackle projects and what to consider when doing so. Since learning Python, I've identified several potential applications, although I haven't started using it yet.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

At work, there are several social activities to participate in, such as end-of-year events and charity functions. Recently, we've been tasked with organizing a team picnic, which involves planning the food and activities.

Why?

I believe the culture in company is really relaxed and easy going but still maintains a high working standard and professionalism. I am also fond of the diversity and inclusivity and there's hardly ever a time where i feel out of place or singled out.
