Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As an academy participant, we were given several group activities, a presentation, and a very enjoyable client dialogue to work on during the Business of Law week.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Unlike other vac schemes, I felt that the CMS Academy gives a lot of responsibility. Most notably, we had the opportunity to speak to some of the firm's major clients.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everyone has been so friendly and welcoming. I felt included during all the activities and really enjoyed collaborating with my team as well as the wider firm network.

I would recommend to do a lot of research into the firm's sector-specific areas and also think how you align with the firm's values (ie: relationship leading, future-facing)
