Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I will communicate with my team about the tasks that are needing done that day. Each week/ 2 weeks I will be working with a different team as we are given a new client whom we are expected to review the accounts and financial activity of.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It is very social and everyone is very supportive - highly recommendable.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I learnt a large amount of IT skills, general business understanding and comprehending as well as communicative skills. I am learning the works behind the financing of a large number of businesses in all forms of industry.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Many graduates / school leavers are taken in every year so the firm are very aware of the programme and how best to apply a 'training plan' so that studies are maintained alongside on the job work.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

A lot of support. Catch ups are often and my trianing provider also gives 3 monthly check ins to review my progress.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Not as much support as my employer however they are less aware of my day-to-day routine in work so I do not expect them to be able to comprehend my learning as much.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It allows me a better understanding of the businesses I work with as I understand general accounting rules and regulations more.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Not a lot but we ensure there are a minimum of 2 socials as well as annual parties each year.

It has been enjoyable and I feel as if I am in an environment that both cares and supports my development within my career.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Crowe UK?
Be confident and dont fret about not knowing a lot about the job - it all comes with time and they are aware that when people start they know next to nothing (most the time) about accounts.
