Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

During the business of law week, I had the pleasure of hearing from partners and associates at CMS. I was able to learn about the firm's geographic breadth, the type of work the firm completes and its clients. We also completed group-related tasks as well as having the chance to hear from a CMS client.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

The insight provided has opened my eyes to the outstanding level of training, support and work provided to a trainee solicitor at CMS. I am excited by the prospect of training at the firm because of the early growth and trust that I know I will be exposed to from the very start of my career.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learn the importance of being able to adapt to change quickly throughout the week, especially during the group-related tasks. This has in turn developed my confidence and helped to become more prepared for the two weeks at the office.
