As a Communities and Engagement Officer I engage with local groups, facilitate community projects, advocate for residents' needs, and build strong relationships. I collaborate to organise events, facilitate consultations, provide support, and arrange site visits to assess conditions. The role involves planning, coordination, documentation, and promoting community participation to enhance local engagement and collaboration.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Although it required commitment, I appreciate the benefits of enhanced skills and knowledge the course provided. It provided me with an updated understanding of current and evolving data trends, improved my job performance, and reignited my pursuit for personal growth. Completing the programme boosted my confidence, reinforced my understanding of data compliance standards, and increased my flexibility and value within the organisation.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

On the Data Technician Level 3 course a gained and developed skills in data sourcing, formatting, and analysis using Excel and Power BI. I developed communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, enabling me to present actionable insights, support data driven decision-making.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The Level 3 Data Technician course delivered by Multiverse was well organised and structured. The course spanned around 13 months. It included modules on data fundamentals, quality, and analysis, with practical, project and work based learning. I received 1-to-1 coaching, group sessions, and community collaboration, ensuring comprehensive skill development and real-world application.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My manager supported my throughout the course by providing mentorship, regular feedback, and access to resources. They offered me opportunities for practical experience, encouraged skill development, and ensured a supportive work environment. Additionally, they facilitated time for study, recognised my achievements, and encouraged me and the team I work within to adopt a culture of continuous learning and growth.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider was Multiverse and they supported me with personalised coaching, group learning sessions, and a dedicated support hub. They provided access to online learning resources. Additionally, Multiverse fostered an online community collaboration approach, ensuring I received comprehensive guidance and support throughout my learning journey.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The Level 3 Data Technician qualification has certainly enhanced my work performance. I've developed skills in data analysis, problem-solving, and communication. It enhanced me efficient and effective use of tools like Excel and Power BI, enabling me to derive actionable insights, improve decision-making, and ensure data accuracy, ultimately boosting efficiency and productivity within my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
