Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role involves helping assist my co workers in day to day finance. This ranges from a little bit of payroll to accounting. I help with invoicing and procurement whilst also getting an overview with the management and administration side of my role.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I thoroughly enjoy my programme. Whilst getting hand on experience, I am not only just given plenty of responsibilities but I am also given help whenever i need it. This helps my progression as i never feel like I'm stuck.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Over my time working for DDFRS, I have developed my ability to liaise with people. Whilst also developing my cognitive skills.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I would say that my programme is pretty well structured and organised. I understand what is expected, what the progression path look like and how it works.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive as much support as i need. If i ask for any help or advise, i am happy knowing i will get the response i need.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Similar to the amount of support i receive from my employer, i am offered extra revision and support sessions to help me towards my qualification if i need them.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I am confidant that the qualification that i am doing is right for the role that i have. It gives me a boarder understanding of what i am doing, helping me preform to a greater standard.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes there are plenty of sporting and clubs to get involved in at work. Ranging from football to golf to charity fund raising,
