im currently enjoying this placement as it is to do with woodworking

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

its not very organised when you ask a question it takes month for the skills coaches to get back to you because of poor communication in the training school, we do not have a workshop in the training school with machines or even power tools at the moment. its all hand tools until they can set the workshop up
How much support do you receive from your employer?

as much as possible but i don't tend to need any
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

well we get half answers and the providers don't know exactly what we are working towards or the full extent of what wee need to do for it
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

depending on the role i get given at the end of my apprenticeship it may mean the woodworking skills are not necessary
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

there are plenty but i do not do them as i have a family and responsibilities outside of work

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
i would recommend them to anyone as the pay and shifts are worth it but not if they were to try out for joinery i would suggest they get one else were first then try come in fully qualified

do whats logical at the end of the day
