I am a pipe welder. At the moment we are doing a training program at bae systems training facility. So I have to weld differnt pipes and differnt materials which end up going through a series of testing and weather or not I pass them I can move onto the next thing.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my program as it seems a very good way to help me develop my welding skills and experience

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt lots of skills in my apprenticeship such as collaboration, integrity, inspiration, teamwork, courage, adaptability and strategic vision. My time in my apprenticeship has helped me developed each one of these skills more and they will continue to progress the further on in my apprenticeship I go.

By getting my qualifications it will help me lots throughout. I will understand what my trade is better and what to do when I get an actual job after my training program
