My role as sales support is to work with the account managers to handle requests which consist of sourcing and quoting products. Handling any returns and many other things
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy my program. The company is really fun to work for and plenty of opportunity for progression and recognition. The apprenticeship is good and teaches you lots of new skills.

Yes, I have constantly been growing my skills such as tech knowledge, excel knowledge or furthering my communication skills

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The course is very well structured is improved every year. They take on any feedback very well. We know what we have to complete and always have chance to do more within our roles.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive lots of support. I have 2 mentors that I am able to go to with any questions and everyone in the office is more than happy to answer any questions. If needing further support there is always people I can go to.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We can always message our mentor from Firebrand for any questions on the projects or course and have catch up calls every 8 weeks or more frequent if needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think the qualification from a sales support standpoint helps me to have a better tech knowledge as well as having a better understanding of how the account managers work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have lots of team nights out for meals, activities and all sorts. There are also networks you can join such as the women's in business network to help make a difference for the company.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Softcat?
I would say to be yourself and use the skills you currently have to link to the job role you are applying for and to DO YOUR RESEARCH before your interview as they always look for that.
