My role consisted of preparing and processing payrolls for businesses.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Very much so, the year I had with Larking Gowen has really set my career up and would recommend it to anyone doing a degree and looking to get into the industry.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I learnt a lot surrounding income tax, national insurance, pensions and other areas of payroll. I also developed the skills of working within a short timeframe and began to grow and start processing more complex payrolls.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It was very well organised with regular check-ups with both my manager and someone from the Uni.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I received a lot of support from my employer and would say there's nowhere better I could have been. I feel very lucky to have found this place.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The Uni held regular meetings and seminars regarding these placement years.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The knowledge I learnt in my qualification was then further enhanced when I was working

This is a very sociable place to work. There's opportunities to attend all kinds of networking events as well as teams going out for all sorts of socials
