To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

On the whole the programme has been poorly managed and delivered with lack of management and communication lacking

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Daily work whilst on placement is well organised, structure of my learning has been add hoc and missing is many areas
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Day to day support from line managers on placement is very good. with regards the general apprenticeship again support from low level leaders and tutors is good but from the company information is very hard to attain with much being last minute only after I have actively sought it out.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

one day a week. however the machines and equipment needed to complete project work is non existent. ventilation /extraction has been missing for over a year, restricting what can be achieved, number of apprentices to tutor ration is not appropriate. Been promised machines and other items but not arrived.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

i feel that ultimately the qualification will have little to no impact for my job role as I was mislead when applying for this role and will in fact be potentially be carrying out a different role with minimal relation to the qualification.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

yes. but I do not due to time and family commitments.

good work life balance, good levels of pay, work colleagues are great.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
be prepared for good days and bad days busy times and times of confusion, just bare with it and carry on, the benefits will eventually outweigh the negatives.
