Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend Jacobs to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Jacobs are a friendly company who will invest in your learning as an apprentice. The Jacobs E3 scheme is available to create priorities for what you would like to work on or develop into, which gives you a say in what line of work you can move into.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Jacobs?
Try to obtain relevant work experience where possible. Reach out to engineering companies and ask for experience - or even just ask questions about important subjects such as Health and Safety or Sustainability. When you are creating your CV, think about important skills you may have that are relevant to working in an engineering team; teamwork, communication (oral, written etc.) and problem solving initiative.
