Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to find the correct quality and price for project resources. Raising orders for projects to smoothly run and ensuring there is a smooth process for both supplier and customer.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I enjoy the programme however my role is a bit monotonous and repetitive, which sometimes forces me to seek new learning opportunities myself, which are often unrelated to my role but still useful.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have developed my communication, problem solving and time management skills as I am in a position where I work closely with a lot of other teams. I have also learnt how to use new systems and software as well as enhancing my MS Office skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The programme is very structured with a clear schedule for workshops, webinars and deadlines of assignments. Module leaders for the university set clear expectations and communicate effectively which helps.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
There is a lot of support, especially from line managers and mentors, who you can actively seek out depending on what roles/experience you are interested in. There are a lot of meetings for you to express concerns and find solutions to any issues.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
There is a lot of support from the university as they provide a lot of points of contact e.g. module leaders, study coaches and a well-being team.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
My role is not as aligned to my qualification as I would like, however the qualification itself is very useful as it provides a broad perspective of business and allows you to learn a lot.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are a lot of social events, networking events and workshops for apprentices and grads. This is all due to a huge number of networks across the business with a place for everyone.
