Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

On a day to day basis I am calling out to customers looking to resign, upgrade and gain new business. Within my apprenticeship time at work I am completing planned assignments.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme here at BT but I do believe the journey of my role could've been made smoother.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Since starting this role and my apprenticeships I have gained several vital skills. The main ones being negotiation skills, customer engagement and problem solving.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

I believe the apprenticeship side of things is ran smoothly but my role could be a little more organised and structured. Better communication could be made with my employee and my apprenticeship provider.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive support from my employer but I believe that I could receive more.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider supports me thoroughly and if I ever need support with my work my apprenticeship coach is more than happy to help.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I believe the apprenticeship assignments and workshops I attend help me perform better in my role because I am able to take away the things I've learnt and put them into practice in my sales calls.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There is a few events within my building which take place every 6 months or so where we are able to network with other employees and gain a further knowledge of the other products and services we provide.

I believe the BT environment is friendly and it is easy to talk to other employees because we all follow the same morals.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT Group?
I would say for anyone applying for a job at BT try and match your past experiences to your new role but also don't be worried to move out your comfort zone as everyone at BT is friendly and welcoming.
