I work on panels, i often get the opportunity to do all stages. of the job. I am required to do job write ups and under pinning knowledge as part of my apprenticeship.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy learning about the company and submarines. I also like being able to do jobs myself.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've definitely learned a lot since joining the company however my time in college has been average and I feel like I haven't learned a lot or anything relevant. It seems we only get sheets and hand outs which can be hard to learn off.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Its hard to understand what you need to do with things such as the units you need to tick off etc, however once you get your head around it, it makes sense.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

You recieve any support you need from your skills coaches and are provided with lots of training.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

With job write ups and UPKS, skills coaches are very helpful and happy to help. Furness college qualifications are difficult as there is not much help or teaching.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I dont think furness college helps at all with your role however the BAE work helps you to understand things when your skill coaches give you ammendments.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
