CAD, planning and design meetings, revit, BIM, site visits, etc.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Very much so. Great university. Really good employer. Supportive team and colleagues.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes, lots of skills once I apply them in the workplace. That is why an apprenticeship works for me, study in the classroom, and then put into practice on site or in the office.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well structured. The day release is always well managed, and my team and the company do ensure that you are supported and set up to achieve and succeed.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Lots of support. My manager is involved in all my review meetings. I link in to the apprentice programme lead in Jacobs for any other issues. They are very supportive when it comes to study time and exam preparation.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Lots of support, UWE have been fantastic.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Massively, I wouldn't be able to do my job without their support and guidance.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, lots of socials held regionally. There are some national events but they are less frequent. We have a monthly office based social.

Do your research as a degree apprenticeship is a big commitment, so make sure it is something that will keep you interested.
