Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Working within different teams on different placements across many disciplines within the business with a main focus on bringing improvement to those areas. You get stuck right in with the work on many projects and are forced to learn very fast.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy working on projects that actually matter, building onto something rather than spending even more time in a classroom. I enjoy the pay and i enjoy working with my colleagues.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
I have developed my presentation skills, my ability to work with complete strangers.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
There are slightly too many people for the programme to run optimally, you can be forced into a placement you don't really like. However apart from that the structure is excellent.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
You receive lots of support, there are plenty or skills coaches to talk to and you have regular meetings with them. there are many ways to raise problems you may have.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
Over the past few years older years say the quality they provide has declined. There is lots of miss communication between lecturers and the students. Also the standard of the teaching its self is not quite as good as it could / should be. There have also been instances of lecturers changing assignment near the due date.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
There is definitely skills i get from college that helps at work, maybe some placements more than others.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
There are some things to get involved in like nuclear scholars. There aren't any sports activities although that would be nice. There are the occasional social event but nothing regular.
