I am a health care assistant and my role consists of taking care and over looking the needs of peoples who struggle to carry out day to day tasks such as bathing, meal time, medications and their mental. health concerns.Also support peoples with dementia and physical disability.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really love this program . Due to the fact that it has taught me a multitude of different skills regarding my day to day job.The format in which this program has taught me those skills was very fun,useful and interactive for me.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

yes I am doing level 2 adult care training.I am very confidant now to carry on any tasks.I can communicate well and understand peoples needs.I have good knowledge of medication administrations.I can handle any emergency situations.I understand British values and person centered values.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

yes my tutor organised everything very well.She always ready to help.Always book classes according to my time.If i got any concerns and i ask her by email.she always response and try to help.she sent me links and videos which help me study.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

To be honest not good response.Its been months kept asking them to sign a form which my tutor asked me.sometimes i feels like they do not values their staffs.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I am very happy with my tutor [This section of the comment has been removed by a member of the Higherin Team because it did not meet our site terms and conditions].She is very supportive and helpful.she always help whenever i need her.All staff are very professional and get in touch by emails and phone whenever they want to update any new things .
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

IT helps me a lot in future .As I am more confidant as it allows me to be much more aware of certain aspects that i may have not been aware before.This qualifications has helped me to also gain a much wider view of my job role.

Why?
Not treating staff well.Not paying enough petrol money.some of them working in the office not have a good understanding to solving any issues.
