Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Preparing sets of accounts, VAT returns, self assessment tax returns and recently I have been picking tasks which are more direct with clients such as bookkeeping.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme very much as i constantly learn and develop new skills whilst also gaining real life experience in an ever growing field

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is very well organised as we have college every Tuesday were we get shown our timeline for which lessons we are partaking in and when each exam is.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

We receive a lot of support such as paid day off before our exam so that we can calm our nerves and spend the time getting much needed revision so that we can do our very best in the exam
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We get lots of support such as revision sessions, regular check ins to make sure we are feeling comfortable and ready for our exam
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It provides me with confidence at work on how to perform everyday tasks and what goes on in the background of the digital accounting software so that if a client were to ask what was happening could happily explain
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

We have quarterly socials within the team such as going to comedy clubs or food festivals. This allows the team to build strong, meaningful connections and makes life long friends

DJH is a super kind and friendly company in which morals line up with mine perfectly. They are extremely supportive and want to see every member of staff succeed and grow into the best version of themselves possible

Be yourself as DJH want kind and genuine people that are hard working but also know when to have a laugh
