Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I prepare accounts, VAT returns, self assessment tax returns, and corporation tax returns.
I also prepare monthly mangement accounts for clients, which allows me to form relationships with clients

To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It's challenging but fun, when I feel I'd lik more of a challenge, I ask my manager who soons finds me something to fit the bill

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've massively improved upon my communication skills. When I started I was scared at the idea of calling clients, but now I don't hesitate to pick up the phone. I get pushed out of my comfort zone, encouraging me to grow

With having learning and development coordinators, we have a lot of support on our apprenticeships, also making it organised.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

With having learning and development coordinators, we have a lot of support on our apprenticeships, line managers who review our jobs and give us feedback so we can improve are also very helpful

We have regular catch ups with our progress with talen coaches who help us kee on top of the apprenticeship-admin

My qualifcation gives me the theory behind what I'm doing at work, which helps me identify where I may be making mistakes, or why
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are often opportunities to get involved with things, such as charity runs, isnght/recruitment mornings, team social events where we get to know our team better and have some fun, Christmas parties, we sponsor many events too, such as knot a sports day, which we also attent annually

it's progressive, and constantly looking for new ways to improve. It appreciates the social side, as well as the professional side. Reguar catch ups with managers every quarter means you know how well you are performing, and you can feedback any concerns you may have

Be confident, read up on all the things the company has done (the website is very user friendly), and be kind!
