I collaborate on HR strategies, address employee concerns, and support performance management. My role fosters a positive work environment and contributes to a dedicated workforce meeting Cornwall's needs.

I have learnt to facilitate training, explore new opportunities to develop talent and to welcome our talent internally in the most effective way possible to achieve positive outcomes.

Highly structured and very focused on personal development. Nothing is too much trouble.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of support from my employer, but never micro-managed. Everything is logical and focused on my ability to learn and apply it to my role.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Lots. Babington have been amazing and my learning coach was outstanding in their support for me.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Very much so. It has given me the toolbox to affect positive change, influence colleagues and to promote a vision for Cornwall Council.

Yes, there are numerous forums, clubs and networks to join which enhance the collaborative feeling and you get to meet people who have the same passions and interests as yourself. Career development opportunities are very highly valued.
