I receive a good level of support from my employer. They’ve been understanding and flexible when it comes to balancing work with my training or studies, and I feel comfortable approaching my manager if I need help or advice.
During my shifts, more experienced team members are always willing to guide me, especially when I’m learning new tasks or dealing with something unfamiliar. There are also opportunities for training and development, which helps me build my confidence and skills.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I receive a good level of support from my training provider while working towards my qualifications. My teacher is approachable and always available to answer questions or explain things I’m unsure about, whether it’s to do with assignments or workplace evidence.
They provide regular feedback, which helps me understand what I’m doing well and where I can improve. We also have scheduled reviews to check on my progress and make sure I’m staying on track.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Learning about topics like safeguarding, infection control, person-centred care, and communication has made me more confident and aware in my day-to-day work. I find that I can now spot things I might not have noticed before, and I’m more comfortable making decisions or raising concerns when needed.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
At my workplace, there are some extra activities that help create a positive, engaging environment. For instance, we have occasional social events, like staff lunches or celebrations for special occasions, which help build camaraderie among the team. These events allow us to connect with each other outside of work and create a more supportive atmosphere.
