Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am now a qualified practitioner at Brambles. My job role entails looking after and caring for the children. We support them with their personal care routines such as changing nappies. We also give extra support at meal times, nap times. We ensure there are engaging and enjoyable activities for the children to get involved with on a daily basis.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt so much through my apprenticeship at brambles, I learnt about the EYFS and its importance when setting next steps for children. I also learnt the basics which helped build great foundations for becoming a good practitioner.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The apprenticeship was laid out easily with clear instruction on what tasks to complete. We had constant check ins with our assessors and always had access to speak to them out of work house if we needed support.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Lots! Brambles were brilliant through the entirety of my course and gave lots of support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Lots of support . All meetings with assessors were at work, they provided all the information we needed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I am much more confident after completing my apprenticeship as I feel I now have all the information to fulfil my role the best!

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Brambles Outdoor Group?
The advice I would give to others about joint Brambles is to just go for it! It was the best decision I ever made.
