My role day-to-day, as a practitioner, was to look after the children daily, meeting their needs and supporting their development, and working with their parents and carers to do this.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I built better teamwork skills and learnt how to care for the children. I also learnt lots of new things when I attended training, e.g. safeguarding, makaton and first aid courses.
