some areas it is well structures and some there is barely any structure. most teams are either agile or waterfall structured, programs are usually well structures however due to lack of communication mistakes are made now and again.

Loads from individual placements and engineering function. Time is given when needed to do extra studies.

Not much, due to issues outside of the companies control the provider seems to want to help but lacks on delivery of that support.

The management areas of the course support our roles, however the course doesnt relate to the job role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Many social activities (i am on the social committee) at least one bit event a month with other social event encouraged weekly. Also weekly sporting events of Football, badminton, swimming, rock-climbing, and more. Individual teams also do events to network and create a more friendly environment.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I wouldnt recommend the scheme in its current state as improvements are needed, however, the work force is amazing! Majority of people are kind, caring, and want to see you succeed. Im also a huge advocate for apprenticeships-it is challenging but money, free degree, work experience, and job.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Emphasise extra curriculars. How are you different? How are you hard working? How have you over come challenges? In the interview they will give you a hard question, you arent meant to know the answer but use this to show case critical thinking and working under pressure.
