Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I am a degree apprentice studying project management, however I am in a quality engineering apprenticeship. My day to day responsibilities include; Training and improving my skills, Audits, Document reviews, Improvement Projects, Uni work, Apprenticeship Standard work, Team Meetings and Collaboration sessions.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme very much and it makes it very interesting working in the defence sector

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many new skills such as; software skills, presentations skills, time management skills and communication skills

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is organised and structured however can definitely improved especially on the communication side of things.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive lots of support and I know there are always people there to talk to if I need it
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive less support from my training provider, they are happy to help with any learning difficulties however are often unsure about other things.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Currently my degree doesn't fully align to my quality role, it helps me out in a lot of ways however I believe it helps others out in a project management role more
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are lots of activities always being advertised at different locations

I believe it is a great environment to learn so many things from a reputable company and fully believe they are great at setting apprentices up for a great career going forward

Just be yourself and try to talk to people nicely and with respect and manage your time very well
