Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is a project manager for the Advanced Analytics side of our business. To oversimplify, I help manage the different tasks that the team members do. Currently we have one main task that we all focus on, and some ad hoc tasks that some team members do. We project managers ensure that all tasks are recorded, tracked, monitored and ultimately are fit for the end brief.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The work can be challenging, especially now that I'm getting more involved. But overall its rewarding not draining. I'm really enjoying it
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Compared to my last few jobs this has been a breath of fresh air, I've improved my communication, confidence, and technical skills. Even my common sense has improved :D
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The structure is not as clear as I would like, as we are one of the first in our company. There is no concreate/agreed upon understanding of what the next steps is. But that is understandable
How much support do you receive from your employer?

From my team I receive a lot of support, they are very understanding and help me see WWW and what could improve in all aspects of my work.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Unfortunately, the training provider has not been to good. All Degree apprentices on this course have had various issues. There seems to be a real disconnect. However, as the sessions are all online, this is bound to happen.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I do think what I'm learning is overall applicable. There have been various points were I have used what I have learnt in my D2D work
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, many football, parties volunteering. I'm surprised how much there is

Would you recommend Toyota GB to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I feel apprenticeships are a better career option anyway, but Toyota specifically has been really good. Although not perfect, this is definitely a good experience.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Toyota GB?
Sounds daft but just apply. I like cars and saw Toyota, I had no idea I would be working with data, but here I am.
