Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As part of the Business Insights team, I supported the delivery of reporting, performance dashboards, and strategic insights across key business areas. My role focused on transforming raw data into clear, actionable information for stakeholders across various Toyota and Lexus teams within the business.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
During my placement, I was given plenty of responsibility to provide high-quality work, liaise with stakeholders and take ownership of ongoing projects.

Yes, during my placement year. I have developed many skills, the most of which include presentation skills, Power BI, SQL, Python and R.

During my placement year, I had received plenty of support and guidance. Especially, with Power BI training as coming into the role I had very limited experience.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The company culture was very positive and encourage good behaviours such as a growth mindset. However, I feel like if the organisation was a little more fast-paced this would have been more beneficial.
