Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
It depends on the team I am in, however it may involve generating dashboards in tableau, arranging data in excel or using other purpose built tools and networking with others to come to conclusions about issues someone may be facing.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy it quite a bit, considering it is university and work it gives a chance to experience both lives

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Being around experienced people allows me to "watch over their shoulders" to see how somebody completes tasks which at first may seem super complicated. It is fascinating to see how experienced people can abstract and break down major complex problems to make them easier to solve in chunks.

Structure and Support

3/5
relatively new programme, DTS, so it is getting better as time goes on
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
We are repeatedly reminded "if you need something just ask" as they can't read minds
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
depends on the individual lecturer usually
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
some of the learning is relatively complex and gives some confidence in not shying away from big tasks.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
there are activities called "stretch" assignments which are extra to any work or uni work - this is usually a pretty creative project etc
