My role was to complete the tasks given to me after being coached and given the relevant knowledge for it. These involved mastering PwC software and checking if a lot of numbers were correct using a determined materiality level.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

A lot! A lot of opportunity and everyone is really friendly. The work is difficult but beneficial.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Many digital skills including: Using excel, using PwC tools such as Aura, connect, SIRA, and more. I also developed better team skills such as communication and how to approach team members/clients in a professional manner.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The training was hard to follow before going off to the office, because of too many people in a packed space. But in the office we were given plenty of information and it gave lots of time to adjust to professional life.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

A lot! In the office I had plenty of connections such as a career coach, a connected develop, team members, and friends also on my course to help when needed.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

It helped a lot with being professional, learning software, etc. And therefore helped with performing better in my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

there were events but a lot of them take place throughout the year so I could not be involved in many of them as I was only there for a short period. Some of them include table tennis, awards, and sports day.

Would you recommend PwC to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Because it helps you evolve at a fast pace with difficult work pushing you to your limit. Even though it can be tough, you come out of it feeling very strong in what you do at the firm and how it helps society.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
Write things down if anybody coaches you!
