Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As an apprentice I'm taught about what skills I need to use whilst completing my apprenticeship as a Mechanical Fitter. I measure and make sure components are in tolerance and I help to create different components.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy the comradery when put with a good group of people in the placements and I enjoy the work I get to see and experience.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I had some pre-existing skills when at college before starting the apprenticeship which have been developed. One of those skills was using measuring equipment accurately.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
The shifts are constantly structured in the same way with the same timings but sometimes, there have been events or meetings that haven't been mentioned to apprentices only a day or two before they're actually meant to be held.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
I have recieved plenty of support from my employer whether it was a struggle with work or if I was off sick and needed help with sick notes etc.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
I recieve as much support as they can give without it turning into them giving me the answers - which I would say is a lot of support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
My training provider have provided the theoretical training and information I would need to know with my apprenticeship and for my qualification l.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
From what I know and from the information that has been given, I'm not 100% sure about any extra-curricular activities that I could he part of through my work
