i am a 3rd year apprentice, i go round to different departments for 6 weeks each time and get to learn what the department does and learn more about cummins and the plant. i do alot of problem solving and CAD work too.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i really enjoy this programme it is very well organized and thought out, ive got to see every area and get a good idea how it works.

Yes Plently of new skills such as project management, CAD work and software and electrical work too.
Structure and Support

very well with different placements every 6 weeks letting us see most of the plant while in out apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

a decent amount of support is provided i have meetings with my mentor every 3 weeks.

Im at Northampton University, the support isnt always provided certain lectures give good support however some dont,

it definitely helps I'm learning a lot which i can then use while I'm at work.

Yes there are activities promoted on Screens around the plant, such as trips out , bingo nights and also football
