Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
An intern/trainee on AWM Audit. I usually start my day with a catch up with my supervisor so we both know what is getting done during the day. Then we go about the tasks, take lunch, then finish up tasks. There is usually a daily group meeting at 4:30pm to speak about the wellbeing of the team, workload, and what stage the engagement is at as a whole. Then we go and carry on with our work.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend PwC to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It is a good place to gain knowledge about audit, as it is a big firm with people at different stages of their career. There is a month of training provided before placement starts, which helps build confidence, and consolidates what had been taught at uni, as well as bridging any gaps that may exist.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
Be confident in the interviews, and do not overthink anything.
