The nature of my daily experience varies for each placement. Generally it will involve processing data to complete metrics, building tools to automate or streamline data handling, creating new metrics and shadowing meetings to gain context.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy much of my day to day work life but I don't enjoy the university aspect.

I would say it's very well organised. Questions are usually answered promptly and even a change of department has disrupted only minimally.

The training provider works as best they can around limitations but it is a difficult and ever evolving process

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
As an apprentice, you get lots of opportunities to ask questions, shadow meetings, and generally experience things that a full employee is too busy to do. Take advantage of the time and get something you can't get at any other stage of employment.
