Crew manager role involves taking charge at a range of operational incidents. Carrying out prevention and protection work in the community.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Enjoy broadening my knowledge in all topic areas allwoing me to have self awareness and become a better manager within role.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Developed existing managerial skills, learning about self awareness and how to manage others. Looked in depth at Theoretical models allowing me to improve my knowledge and put this into practice within my workplace. Also improved my communication and listening skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Programme very well structured with workshops going through content. Lyndsey knowledge was very good allowing questions to be asked and understanding confirmed.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Recieve good amount of support, getting time off for worshops where required. However when compelting knowledge and skills assignments with Crew manager workload I have found it difficult to manage on some occasions.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Raise the bar to start off with my learning coach was not very helpful however since then I have gotten Sarah and she could not be more helpful. Due to the demands of the job she has been very flexible for meetings and has given me support when required.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel the qualification has been very relevant to my role allowing me to improve most notably in self awareness. This has aided me in creating my development plan at work and my goals moving forward.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
