Overview of the Experience

Please give an overview of what your work experience involved:
5/5
I worked on multiple clients, being able to visit client site regularly. I was given a range of tasks across different FSLIs, increasing in complexity as my placement went on, being coached through everything very effectively.
To what extent did you enjoy your work experience?
5/5
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement, and will be looking forward to coming back next year. I wouldn't have anything bad to say about my experience at all, I learned a lot, and everyone that I worked with were brilliant.
How well organised was your work experience?
4/5
It was very organised through most of the placement. Towards the end, resourcing became a slight issue, leaving me unbooked to a specific client for a couple of weeks, but despite this I was still provided lots of work, so it didn't affect me extremely negatively overall.
How much did your work experience help you in deciding on your future career path?
5/5
I think that it's given me a much greater understanding of the office culture and the job role, so has definitely helped me in deciding what I want to achieve in the future.
Were you paid or reimbursed for this experience?
5/5
Yes, I think it was fair payment.

Skills Development

What training and skills development did you learn from your work experience?
5/5
I learned a lot through my placement, my technical understanding of audit has improved massively. Aside from this, I've developed other skills and attributes, such as my communication skills through talking to clients frequently, and my knowledge of excel, in order to work more efficiently.

Company Culture

How much did you learn about the company culture and what it would be like to work there?
5/5
I learned a lot. I understand the culture a lot better, and can see that socially, the office seems very close. I think in the short time we were there, I was brought into the social bubble very effectively also.
Were there opportunities for networking and meeting other employees?
5/5
Definitely, I have really enjoyed the social aspect of my placement.
