Completing jobs with the help of a mentor, to help guide me in areas I am unsure on. Also completing HNC work once a week which we are given a day out of work for.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Currently I am really enjoying my programme as I feel like I am learning new things everyday, and picking up a wide variety of skills. I have made lots of new relationships in work which has been beneficial.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learnt lots of new CAD skills from my day to day job. I have also developed my communication skills by working with different people, as well as my teamwork skills. All of this has also helped me to gain confidence.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I think that my programme is very well structured, as there is a clear layout for the 3.5 years that I will be an apprentice. we have clear goals and targets set that various people help us work towards.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I receive a lot of support from my employer in all different areas. This ranges from the tasks i complete at work, to my college work and any other challenges I come across.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
For my HNC if I am ever unsure on certain things I have always been welcomed to ask anyone on my team for help, or be given some extra time at work to ensure all of my assignments are completed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I feel like my qualification helps me to perform better by giving my a better understanding to the other side of design, as I complete lots of research that takes me through all the different stages that I wouldn't usually think about within my job.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
I have been involved in some social activities at work during the time i've been here, and recently a sports event has been organised for anyone who is interested.
