Providing chemistry expertise to support the manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients or intermediates at contract manufacture organisations. Provide technical support for technology transfers, implementation of changes and improvements, and investigation of deviations.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the challenge of my role, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the course content of the apprenticeship. The course is demanding however, requiring significantly more hours beyond the 1 day per week study time.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes. I've been given opportunities to develop skills in Lean, Six Sigma, Data Visualisation and Statistical Analysis. I also have developed stakeholder management and understanding of working in a heavily regulated and controlled environment. I'm also on a Level 7 MSc Data Science & Artificial Intelligence apprenticeship.
