Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
2/5
Managing projects and liaising with stakeholders, as well as balancing uni work and early careers tasks and training.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
1/5
It is an extremely challenging programme, with little support from early careers.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
I have developed my problem solving and stakeholder engagement.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
1/5
I do not feel the university course is well structured and the programme doesn't take into considerations around remote learners and how to support them. Despite trying to provide feedback to help improve the process, I have been pushed back and told they don't need this.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
2/5
The business provide support, but the early careers support is not sufficient and the university support isn't up-to-scratch.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
It gives me information to support my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
There are a number of benefits, however sometimes I feel the benefits do not outweigh the challenges you face.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Consider whether this is the company for you, there are lots of opportunities, but it doesn't come without it's challenges. There is a lack of support, unless you fight for it, which I don't feel like you should have to do within a workplace.
