Every day is different. currently im in a training phase and so im learning a lot of new stuff. the instructors are very helpful and informative when giving infomation.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy most aspects of the job. dont get me wrong there are some parts that i dont fully enjoy however thats more down to the type of person that i am. Id much more just be on the tools all the time.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned a new trader while working for the yard. before i started i had never used a welding kit before however now i am confident in my role to do whatever i need to do.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is very well strucuted and explained to you from day one. there is pratically no confusion for a company of this size is very impressive
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive as much support that i ask for. If i ask for help ill get it if that be for piratical work or it be for physical work someone is more than willing to help. the other apprentices are also more than willing to help each other out.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

if i ask for support it will be provided as stated before. every day we work towards out qualification.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The qualification is a practical welding qual. and so the work that im doing on the boats helps me get better.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

yes. There are STRECH activity that can be from helping new apprentices come into the business all the way to trips of site with the company to help team building
