Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
completing admin bases tasks, attending meetings, chasing people, creating reports, walks around site checking for safety hazards etc
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Really enjoy the program but it has defiantly come with its challenges, not for the faint hearted.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
Confidence, communication, construction knowledge inc commercial, planning, project controls etc

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The development areas are very well structured but in my experience, gaining the relevant experience has been difficult until recently. Been in and out of teams, hard to get properly stuck in as I've had to move just as I've settled. This isn't how the program is meant to work but its had it's benefits as i've had to learnt to adapt quickly, get to know new projects and people. I wouldn't go back and change it but it's not what I expected going into it.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
Good level of Support, group chats between colleagues to help with uni work as well. However I am seconded into another company so have less contact with the company in general
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Lots of support, options for 1:1, dedicated support team etc
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
As I've completed more of the degree I find it more relevant with work, however I would say I haven't used it massively in my role. It's very generalised to the industry and focuses a lot more on smaller companies, my company isn't small so we use different methods and techniques.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Yes, networking at least once a month, not many sporting activities though, from what I'm aware.
