as part of my second year placement i am working in RAF Marham as a Part M apprentice.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

the first year of my apprenticeship i enjoyed. the second year placement i got sent down the Part M route which i was not particularly wanting to ideally do as i wanted to be a maintenance technician as the job title explains.

the first year was rather packed of exams, however was very interesting. but the decision of sending many of my cohort into Part M for second year placements i dont believe is very fair.

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
Because it is alot of peoples dream and interest to work within aircraft industry as is mine, it is a great way of developing engineering knowledge and very interesting
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
one of my good friends has just joined and i have told him to try his hardest in passing all the exams so you have a better chance of getting a Part 145 role for the second year
