My role entails leading calls/meetings, communicating with stakeholders and managing peoples workloads, ensuring their tasks are being completed to a respectable standard.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the programme to a large extent, it has provided me with such a large network of people who are all willing to help me develop my personal and profession skills.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my communication, teamwork and presenting skills, and also learnt leadership skills which i didn't necessarily have before starting my apprenticeship.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

My apprenticeship programme is well organised and follows a set structure so that guidelines and expectations that we must follow are clear.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive a lot of help from my employer, both placement manager and my early careers skills coach and i know that should i need any further help or support, i know who to go to if they are either absent or unable to help in that matter
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a decent amount of support, we perhaps could get more however i respect that it is a large university with hundreds of students.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I think it helps to an extent, however i often learn more and faster through the actual job itself as i can practise it rather than just learning content at university
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes, there is many opportunities to attend activities of that sort, as well as being a STEM ambassador which gives you opportunities ot go and network more.

Why?
It is an amazing place to work, with tonnes of support available and it is also a highlight inclusive environment where everyone is welcome no matter what their background is.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Try your best and do not give up trying if you don't get in the first time it is not the end of the world, if you want it then you should try until you've got it.
