Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

so job role intakes burning, grinding, gouging it all depends on the job you get and some days you could be burning a shape out for a repair, grinding could be flushing of rough edges, gouging could be removing welds from a joint. Theses jobs can be hot at times and can be tough.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i enjoy the program as its different compared to other programs such as its not just the same thing your doing there is all sorts to do learning the job, burning, grinding, gouging, tank testing, its just always different, so its nice to not do the same thing over and over again.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

i have been learning burning the past two weeks and i have picked up new skills what are relevent to the job role im doing. understanding the basic about burning and then to have a steady hand too. its also a patiants game where you have t.o take your time with buring as well

How well organised/structured is your programme?

yeah its very well organised, our tutors are well prepared for the tasks and teaching us what to do and giving all of us the correct information as and when its needed, very helpfull when we are stuck and program is very well done and is clear to know what happens during the coures.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

i receive plenty of support from my employer they are very helpfull and cant do much more than what they are doing now. if i struggle i feel confident to get the help i need and i can always assure myself that i will get full support you need whatever it is.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

i receive plenty of support from them cant ask for much more from them as they are really good at it and are good at what they do, need help they are there for you, always there every step of the way, more questions you ask the better and more information you can get which is help full.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

very well to be honsest as its challenging and it gets you thinking about what you doing on the job or planning it in genreral. some stuff is comon sense and other things we need the skills and knowalge to know what we are doing in the job role its self
