To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

It is very enjoyable, It's reassuring to know that the benefits that BAE provide enable me to be comfortable outside of work and not worry, this allows me to focus on work and take advantage of all the streams of personal development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed a multitude of skills, communication, understanding how a business operates, understanding how parts are assembled and manufactured and general IT skills and knowledge.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It structed okay, there are some improvements that are needed but adding them in would be changing the groundwork on what the apprenticeships are built on. Aside from that, It is reasonably structured.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

There are so many avenues of support, there is always someone to talk to no matter where you work. One of the biggest things I've seen around BAE is how well supported you are not only as a new starter but for anyone within the business.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The support is good when you are at the training centre, once you go out into the business there are other new starters so you don't have the easy access to support however, After your time in the training centre, you'd know where to go for support.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

The work experience is what allows me to perform better in my role. A lot of the questions regarding the qualification are quite obvious and don't seem like they benefit me too much. The actual college qualification does help me understand my role and help me perform.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are, they are posted around workplaces and there are plenty of meetings and calls you can attend to learn more about a lot of topics. If you wanted extra-curricular activities you can easily find them.

Would you recommend BAE Systems to a friend?
Yes
Why?
The pay enables you to live comfortably even in the current age where a lot of general things are expensive. The work is rewarding, You do make an impact even as a new starter. The flexibility helps mentally if things aren't going well. The workers are helpful and knowledable.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
Read the annual BAE summary / achievements on their website. Learn what they do. In your interview try weave some of your answers into potentially working into those areas, It shows you care about what the business does. Also, any resources BAE give you, use them! Show them that you listen
