Engineering Technician Review

My role involves working in the repair and overhaul of components, my job is incredibly hands on and I complete jobs with the supervision of other qualified technicians with one day a week devoted to college, But overall I am performing the same job I would when I qualify.

I is reasonably well structured, my year went through the process of changing collages so it was slightly disrupted but the next year will be able to have a much more regimented structure, there is also many people and places within the company where you can reach out either for information or support and all apprentices have many qualified technicians that they can shadow

i receive a lot of support from my employer and there is much more available to others if they wish it such as disability networks, neurodiversity network, women's network and many more. There are always individuals available to assist you in any way.

we receive much support at college and additional help is available to any who request it and the assessors are very informative and support us in our learning whilst also providing us with the opportunity for further growth

Yes i do believe that the education provided by my training provider does help in many aspect of my job role and provide a basis on which i can further develop my skills

Because it a a reliable company and a well rounded training provider that allows for much progression within the business and many more opportunities once you gain a qualification. I has a good community and a good working environment and I would have regretted it if I had gone to another company.
