Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

We do lots of different tasks including burning,grinding and fabricating metal to get all required skills.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy it but I think that the amount of grinding gets very repetitive.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt quite a lot of new skills as before I started I didn't know how to use a grinder, welder or burner whereas now I am confident with these.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

The extraction in the workshop does not work as it should. This causes us to have time out because it is not safe to work.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

We get quite a lot of support off our employer as they help if we need it.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Not a lot as we didn't have a tutor in one of our lessons for around 12 weeks which put us behind.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

In our first year i thought the lessons helped but in our second year i feel like they don't as much as they are not related to our job.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes as we could get involved to work on a soap box. There is also visitors that come round that we can get the opportunity to speak to.
