I work 4 days a week, 3 days on the workshop learning new skills everyday and one day as a college day. as a machinist i have recently been learning how to use the milling machines and the lathes.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have thoroughly enjoyed the programme so far because there is many things to learn which is all very interesting and i have met many people.

yes, during my apprenticeship i have been learning new skills every day and have developed existing skills.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

my programme is very well structured and organised with a plan for every section meaning there is never time where there is nothing to do as it has all been planned so well.

any support needed we can receive and there is never any judgment

alot of support is recieved from the training provider when needed as college days can sometimes get difficult

Why?
such a great place to work with a great group of people all around. everyone is friendly and is always willing to help if you are struggling with anything. work is enjoyable and you learn many new skills
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BAE Systems?
be confident and friendly, don't isolate yourself from others or you will get bored throughout the day, have some basic knowledge of the company and have the right attitudes
