Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the virtual internship and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.

As a part of the experience, I was able to hear experiences of Black PwC employees and their journeys to achieving their senior positions. They were able to give advice as well as answer any questions on career progression and their time at PwC. I also attended many networking/Q and A sessions, in which I could gain insight into what life at PwC would look like and a typical day to day for an auditor.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have developed my communication skills as well as my listening skills. During the networking sessions, it was crucial that I could take away necessary information so I made sure to listen attentively and take notes as I was doing so. I also tried to improve how I come across in online meetings, to look more attentive.
