Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

The first two years included completing a BTEC in Telecommunications and another in ICT Systems and Principles and an end point assessment whilst also ensuring a service is maintained and delivered to our customer.
This includes timely maintenance, fault finding and repairs to ensure the equipment can provide the best service possible.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

i enjoy the program a lot, i heave learned lots of valuable skills and got multiple qualifications out of it

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

i have learned many skills which include soldering, how to read circuit diagrams and fault finding. The babcock training team were amazing and always one message away if i needed assistance.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

from day 1 i got a time table of when all the courses for the BTEC would be and if any changes happened i was informed straight away
How much support do you receive from your employer?

As much support as i required they are just one message away and can arrange a call to go over anything which requires support, as well as the people i work with on site being able to assist me where nessesary
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

every 6 weeks we did a btec modal, which then we would get an assignment to do on that modal. during this time we got as much support as required.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

from starting with barely any knowledge i have built up so much through the apprenticeship, although the qualification is generic i am able to using the knowledge gained to help with my day to day work
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

not many due to my location, however if i was to travel i would have many to go to
